Note: Choose specific form or any form based on your automation needs.

Step 5: Configure Timing and Actions

  1. Set timing (if available):

    • Immediate: Triggers right away

    • Set timing preferences
  2. Add actions:

    • Configure what happens when automation triggers
    • Example: Send email, add to list, create lead
    • Set up automation actions

Note: Configure timing and actions for your automation workflow.

Step 6: Save Automation

  1. Review your automation configuration:
    • Trigger type is Form Submission
    • Form is selected (specific or any)
    • Timing is configured
    • Actions are set up
  2. Click Save (or Save Automation)
    • Automation will be saved
    • You'll see a confirmation
  3. Automation will be active

What happens next: Automation will be configured and:

  • Triggers when forms are submitted
  • Runs automation actions
  • Processes form submissions automatically
  • Helps automate follow-up workflows

How Form Submission Triggers Work

When automation triggers on form submission:

  1. Form submission:

    • Customer submits form
    • Form submission is detected
    • Trigger conditions are checked
  2. Automation activation:

    • Automation triggers if conditions match
    • Actions are executed
    • Follow-up communications are sent
  3. Workflow execution:

    • Automation runs configured actions
    • Customer receives automated communications
    • Workflow is completed

Tips

  • Use form submission triggers for lead follow-up
  • Configure specific forms for targeted automations
  • Use "any form" for general workflows
  • Set up email actions for form submissions
  • Review automation execution history
