How to Track SEO Keywords

Learn how to track SEO keywords to monitor your search visibility and get AI-powered keyword recommendations. Keyword tracking helps you understand how your site ranks in search results.

Before You Begin

• You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
• You need permission to manage SEO (typically organization owners and admins have this permission)

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to SEO

1. Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
2. From the dashboard, go to SEO (or Sites → select site → SEO)
3. You'll see SEO keyword tracking interface

What happens next: You'll see your tracked keywords (if any) and options to add keywords.

Step 2: Add Keyword

1. On the SEO page, look for Add keyword button
2. Click Add keyword
3. A form or input field will appear

What happens next: You'll see a field to enter the keyword.

Step 3: Enter Keyword

1. Enter keyword to track:

   • Type the keyword you want to track
   • Example: "yoga classes", "personal training", "fitness coach"
   • Keywords should be relevant to your business

2. Keyword selection tips:

   • Choose keywords your customers might search for
   • Use specific, relevant keywords
   • Track important business terms

Note: Enter keywords that are relevant to your business and content.

Step 4: Save Keyword

1. Review your keyword:
   • Keyword is relevant and specific
   • Spelling is correct
2. Click Add or Save
   • Keyword will be added to tracking
   • You'll see it appear in your keyword list
   • Tracking will begin

What happens next: The keyword will be tracked and:

• Added to your keyword list
• Rankings monitored over time

• Available for viewing and reporting

Step 5: View Rankings

1. View keyword rankings:

   • See current ranking position

   • See ranking trends

2. Ranking information:

   • Current position in search results

Step 6: (Optional) Get AI Recommendations

1. Get AI keyword recommendations:

   • Look for Get recommendations or AI suggestions option
   • Click to generate recommendations
   • Review suggested keywords
   • Add recommended keywords if relevant

2. Use recommendations:

   • AI suggests keywords based on your content
   • Recommendations help you find new keywords to track
   • Add relevant recommendations to your tracking list

Managing Keywords
