How to Set Up Verified Sender Emails
Learn how to set up verified sender email addresses to ensure reliable email delivery. Verified senders help maintain sender reputation and improve email deliverability.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
- You need permission to manage organization integrations (typically organization owners have this permission)
- Email addresses you want to verify
- Access to email accounts for verification
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Email Settings
- Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
- From the dashboard, go to Organization Management → Integrations
- Find Email Settings or SES Configuration
What happens next: You'll see email configuration options.
Step 2: Find Verified Senders Section
- In Email Settings, look for Verified Senders or Sender Emails section
- This section contains:
- List of verified senders
- Add verified sender option
- Verification status
Note: Verified Senders section manages sender email addresses.
Step 3: Add Verified Sender Email
Click Add Verified Sender (or Add Sender Email):
- Form will open
- Field for email address
Enter email address:
- Type the email address you want to verify
- Example: "noreply@yourdomain.com" or "hello@yourdomain.com"
- Use email addresses from your domain
- Enter complete email address
Note: Enter the email address you want to use for sending emails.
Step 4: Complete Verification Process
Start verification:
- Click Verify or Send Verification Email
- Verification email will be sent
- Check your email inbox
Verify email address:
- Open verification email
- Click verification link
- Or enter verification code
- Complete verification
Important: Verification is required to use the sender email address.
Step 5: Set as Default Sender (Optional)
Set default sender (if applicable):
- Choose verified sender as default
- Default sender is used for all emails
- Or select sender per campaign
Default sender benefits:
- Consistent sender address
- Easier email management
- Better sender reputation
Note: Setting a default sender simplifies email sending.
Step 6: Verify Setup
Check verification status:
- Verified senders show as "Verified"
- Status is updated
- Sender is ready to use
Test sender:
- Send test email using verified sender
- Verify email delivers correctly
- Check sender address appears correctly
