How to Schedule Content in Marketing Copilot
Learn how to schedule approved content for future publishing to your social media platforms. Scheduling helps you plan social media content in advance and publish at optimal times.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
- You need permission to manage marketing copilot (typically organization owners and admins have this permission)
- Approved content ready to schedule
- Social media integrations connected (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Approved Content
- Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
- From the dashboard, go to Marketing Copilot (or Marketing → Content Library)
- Find approved content:
- Go to Approved section
- Or view content with "Approved" status
- Select content you want to schedule
What happens next: You'll see your approved content.
Step 2: Select Content to Schedule
Find content to schedule:
- Browse approved content
- Select content items you want to schedule
- You can schedule multiple items
View content details:
- See content text and images
- Check which platforms content is for
- Review content before scheduling
Note: Only approved content can be scheduled for publishing.
Step 3: Open Schedule Interface
- Click on content item to open details
- Look for Schedule button or option
- Click Schedule (or Set Schedule)
- Schedule interface will open
What happens next: You'll see options to set schedule date and time.
Step 4: Set Schedule Date and Time
Select publish date:
- Choose the date you want to publish
- Use date picker to select date
- Example: Select "December 15, 2024"
Select publish time:
- Choose the time you want to publish
- Use time picker to select time
- Example: Select "2:00 PM"
- Consider optimal posting times for your audience
Note: Set date and time when you want content to be published.
Step 5: Select Platforms
Choose which platforms to publish to:
- Select Facebook (if content is for Facebook)
- Select Instagram (if content is for Instagram)
- Select LinkedIn (if content is for LinkedIn)
- You can select multiple platforms
Platform selection:
- Only platforms content is configured for will appear
- Select all platforms or specific ones
- Content will publish to selected platforms
Note: Select platforms where you want content to be published.
Step 6: Confirm Schedule
- Review your schedule settings:
- Date is correct
- Time is appropriate
- Platforms are selected
- Content is correct
- Click Schedule (or Confirm Schedule)
- Schedule will be saved
- Content will be queued for publishing
- You'll see a confirmation
What happens next: Content will be scheduled and:
- Queued for publishing at scheduled time
- Visible in scheduled content list
- Will publish automatically at scheduled time
- Can be edited or canceled before publish time
Managing Scheduled Content
After scheduling, you can:
- View scheduled content: See all content scheduled for future publishing
- Edit schedule: Change date, time, or platforms
- Cancel schedule: Remove content from schedule
- Publish immediately: Publish scheduled content right away if needed
