How to Generate Content with Marketing Copilot
Learn how to use Marketing Copilot's AI assistance to generate social media content quickly and efficiently. AI generation helps you create content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Before You Begin
- You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
- You need permission to manage marketing copilot (typically organization owners and admins have this permission)
- Social media integrations connected (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) - optional but recommended
- CMS content or reviews (for content generation context) - optional but helpful
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Marketing Copilot
- Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
- From the dashboard, go to Marketing Copilot (or Marketing → Content Library)
- You'll see your content library and generation options
What happens next: You'll see the Marketing Copilot interface.
Step 2: Open Generate Content
- On the Marketing Copilot page, look for Generate Content button or option
- Click Generate Content
- A generation interface will open
What happens next: You'll see options to configure content generation.
Step 3: Configure Generation Settings
Select content type or template (if available):
- Choose the type of content you want to generate
- Select from available templates
- Or use default generation
Provide context or prompts:
- Enter information about what you want to generate
- Describe your business, services, or topics

- Context helps AI create relevant content
Choose platforms (if applicable):
- Select which platforms to generate for
- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Or generate for all platforms

Step 4: Start Generation
- Review your generation settings:
- Content type is selected
- Context is provided
- Platforms are chosen
- Click Generate or Start Generation
- Generation process will begin
- You'll see progress indicators
- Generation may take a moment

- Multiple content items may be generated
- Content appears in your review queue
- Generation progress is tracked
Step 5: Review Generated Content
Check review queue:
- Generated content appears in review queue
- View content items
- Review content quality and relevance
Review content details:
- See generated text, images, and metadata
- Check content matches your needs
- Review platform-specific content
Note: Generated content needs approval before it can be scheduled or published.
Step 6: Approve or Edit Content
Approve content (if ready):
- Click Approve on content items you want to use
- Approved content can be scheduled
- Content moves to approved status
Edit content (if needed):
- Click Edit to modify generated content
- Make adjustments to text or details
- Save edited content
Reject content (if not suitable):
- Click Reject on content you don't want
- Provide rejection reason
- Helps improve future generation
