Where to Find Leads and How to Manage Them
When someone submits a lead form or you manually add a lead, they appear in your Lead Board. This article explains how to find and manage leads.
Where Leads Go
All leads are collected in the Lead Board. To access it:
- Go to CRM in the left sidebar
- Click on Leads
You'll see your Lead Board with all leads organized by workflow stages.
Understanding the Lead Board
The Lead Board displays leads in columns representing different stages of your workflow:
- New: Freshly submitted leads
- Contacted: Leads you've reached out to
- Qualified: Leads who are good prospects
- Converted: Leads who became customers
- (Your custom stages may vary)
Where Leads Come From
Leads can enter your system from:
- Lead forms on your website
- Manual entry by you or your staff
- Integrations with other tools
- Landing pages with lead capture
Managing Leads
Moving Leads Between Stages
- Find the lead card on the board
- Drag and drop it to a different stage column
- Or click the lead to open it and change the stage from the dropdown
Viewing Lead Details
- Click on any lead card
- View their contact information, notes, and history
- Add notes or update their information
Converting a Lead to a Customer
When a lead becomes a paying customer:
- Open the lead details
- Click Convert to Customer or link to an existing customer
- The lead will be marked as converted and linked to their customer profile
Tips for Managing Leads
- Follow up quickly: New leads should be contacted within 24-48 hours
- Add notes: Keep track of conversations and next steps
- Use stages effectively: Move leads through your pipeline as they progress
- Clean up regularly: Archive or delete leads that go cold
Customizing Your Lead Board
You can customize your lead stages and workflow:
- Go to CRM > Leads > Settings (or Workflows)
- Add, remove, or rename stages to match your sales process
- Set up automations to notify you of new leads
