How to Create a Campaign in Marketing Copilot

Learn how to create campaigns to organize your social media content. Campaigns help you group content by purpose, theme, or marketing initiative.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
  • You need permission to manage marketing copilot (typically organization owners and admins have this permission)
  • Content items created (optional, can add later)

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Marketing Copilot

  1. Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
  2. From the dashboard, go to Marketing Copilot (or Marketing → Content Library)
  3. Click Campaigns (or find campaigns section)

What happens next: You'll see campaigns list and create options.

Step 2: Open Create Campaign

  1. On the Campaigns page, look for Create Campaign button
  2. Click Create Campaign
  3. Campaign creation form will open

What happens next: You'll see fields to enter campaign details.

Step 3: Enter Campaign Name

  1. Name: Enter a clear name for your campaign (required)
    • Make it descriptive and easy to identify
    • Example: "Summer Promotion", "Product Launch", "Holiday Campaign"
    • Name helps organize and identify campaigns

Note: Campaign name is required and helps you identify campaigns.

Step 4: (Optional) Let AI Auto-Label Campaign

  1. AI Auto-Labeling (if available):

    • Enable AI auto-labeling option
    • AI analyzes content and suggests labels
    • Helps organize campaigns automatically
  2. Auto-labeling benefits:

    • Saves time organizing content
    • Consistent labeling
    • Helps with campaign management

Note: AI auto-labeling helps organize campaigns automatically.

Step 5: Assign Content Items (Optional)

  1. Add content to campaign (if you have content):

    • Browse available content items
    • Select content items to add
    • Add multiple items if needed
  2. Or add content later:

    • Create campaign first
    • Add content items later
    • Assign content as you create it

Note: You can add content during creation or assign it later.

Step 6: Save Campaign

  1. Review your campaign details:
    • Name is clear and descriptive
    • AI labeling is configured (if applicable)
    • Content is assigned (if applicable)
  2. Click Save (or Create Campaign)
    • Campaign will be created
    • You'll see it appear in campaigns list
    • You'll see a confirmation

What happens next: Your campaign will be created and:

  • Available for organizing content
  • Visible in campaigns list
  • Ready to assign content items
  • Can be edited or deleted later

Managing Campaigns

After creating campaigns, you can:

  1. Assign content: Add content items to campaigns
  2. Edit campaigns: Update campaign details
  3. Delete campaigns: Remove campaigns if no longer needed
  4. Organize content: Group content by campaign

Tips

  • Use clear, descriptive campaign names
  • Use AI auto-labeling to save time
  • Organize content into campaigns for better management
  • Create campaigns for specific marketing initiatives
  • Review campaigns regularly

Troubleshooting

Problem: I don't see Create Campaign option Solution: Check that:

  • You have permission to manage marketing copilot
  • Campaigns feature is available
  • You're viewing the Campaigns section

Solution: Verify you have access to Marketing Copilot. Contact your organization owner if needed.

Problem: I can't save the campaign Solution: Check that:

  • Campaign name is filled in (required)
  • All required fields are completed
  • Campaign creation is working

Solution: Make sure campaign name is entered. Check for error messages.

Problem: I can't assign content to campaign Solution: Check that:

  • Content items exist
  • Content is available for assignment
  • Campaign is created and saved

Solution: Verify content exists and campaign is saved. Assign content after campaign is created.

Problem: AI auto-labeling isn't working Solution: Check that:

  • AI auto-labeling feature is available
  • Content is available for analysis
  • Feature is enabled

Solution: Verify AI auto-labeling is available. Contact support if feature isn't working.
