Step 5: Save Tags

  1. Review your tag selections:
    • Verify the correct tags are selected
    • Check that you're tagging the right customers
  2. Click Save or Apply tags

  • Usable for segmentation and targeting
  • Reflected in customer lists and views

Using Tags

After assigning tags, you can:

  1. Filter customers: Use tags to filter your roster and see specific customer groups
  2. Search by tags: Search for customers with specific tags
  3. Segment campaigns: Target email campaigns or automations to specific tags
  4. Organize customers: Group customers by interests, membership levels, or other criteria

Tips

  • Use consistent tag naming conventions (e.g., "VIP" not "vip" or "Vip")
  • Create tags that are meaningful and useful for your business
  • Assign multiple tags to each customer for flexible organization
  • Use tags for segmentation in marketing campaigns
  • Regularly review and clean up unused tags
