How to Approve Content in Marketing Copilot

Learn how to review and approve content in Marketing Copilot's review queue. Approved content can be scheduled for publishing to your social media platforms.

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com
  • You need permission to manage marketing copilot (typically organization owners and admins have this permission)
  • Content in your review queue (generated or imported)

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Review Queue

  1. Log in to your account at https://app.joinzipper.com/auth/login
  2. From the dashboard, go to Marketing Copilot (or Marketing → Content Library)
  3. Click Review Queue (or find review queue section)
  4. You'll see content items waiting for review

What happens next: You'll see the review queue with content items.

Step 2: View Content Items

  1. Browse content in queue:

    • See all content items waiting for approval
    • View content previews
    • See content details (text, images, metadata)
  2. Content information shown:

    • Content text and images
    • Platform(s) content is for
    • Generation date and source
    • Content status

Note: Review queue shows all content waiting for your approval.

Step 3: Review Content

  1. Click on content item to view full details:

    • See complete content text
    • View images and media
    • Check platform-specific content
    • Review metadata and details
  2. Evaluate content quality:

    • Check content matches your brand voice
    • Verify content is relevant and appropriate
    • Ensure content is accurate
    • Review images and media

Note: Review content carefully before approving to ensure quality.

Step 4: (Optional) Edit Content

  1. Edit content if needed:

    • Click Edit on content item
    • Modify text, images, or details
    • Make adjustments to match your needs
    • Save edited content
  2. Edit options:

    • Update content text
    • Change images or media
    • Modify metadata
    • Adjust platform-specific content

Note: Edit content to match your brand voice and requirements before approving.

Step 5: Approve Content

  1. Click Approve on content items you want to use:

    • Content will be approved
    • Moves to approved status
    • Can be scheduled for publishing
  2. Approve with schedule (if available):

    • Approve and set schedule date/time
    • Content is approved and scheduled
    • Saves time by doing both at once

What happens next: Content will be approved and:

  • Moves to approved status
  • Available for scheduling
  • Can be published to social media
  • Removed from review queue

Step 6: (Optional) Reject Content

  1. Reject content if not suitable:

    • Click Reject on content you don't want
    • Provide rejection reason
    • Helps improve future generation
  2. Rejection reasons:

    • Explain why content was rejected
    • Example: "Not relevant to our business"
    • Example: "Tone doesn't match brand"
    • Helps AI learn and improve

Note: Rejection reasons help improve future content generation.

Managing Approved Content

After approving, you can:

  1. Schedule content: Set publish dates and times
  2. Publish immediately: Publish approved content right away
  3. Edit approved content: Make changes if needed
  4. Organize into campaigns: Group content by campaign

  • Review all content carefully before approving
  • Edit content to match your brand voice
  • Use rejection reasons to improve future generation
  • Approve content regularly to keep queue moving
  • Schedule approved content promptly

Troubleshooting

Problem: I don't see the Review Queue Solution: Check that:

  • You have permission to manage marketing copilot
  • Content exists in review queue
  • Review queue section is visible

Problem: I can't approve content Solution: Check that:

  • Content exists and is accessible
  • You have permission to approve content
  • Content isn't already approved

  • Approval was successful
  • Content status updated
  • Page is refreshed

Solution: Verify approval was successful. Refresh the page and check content status.

Problem: I want to edit approved content Solution: You can edit approved content:

  • Go to approved content
  • Click Edit
  • Make changes
  • Save updates

Solution: Edit approved content by opening it and making changes. Content can be edited before publishing.
