How to Add Products to Your Website

Products you create in Zipper aren't automatically displayed on your website. You need to add them to your site pages using the site editor. This article shows you how.

Understanding Product Visibility

There are two places products can appear:

  1. Customer App: Products are automatically available in the app's shop/store section
  2. Website: Products must be manually added to your website pages

Steps to Add Products to Your Website

Step 1: Go to the Site Editor

  1. Go to Sites in the left sidebar
  2. Select your site
  3. Click Edit or open the site builder/editor

Step 2: Navigate to the Right Page

  1. Find the page where you want to display products (e.g., Shop, Products, Pricing)
  2. Or create a new page for your products

Step 3: Add a Products Block

  1. Look for the option to add a new section or block
  2. Find the Products block, Shop block, or Pricing block
  3. Add it to your page

Step 4: Configure Which Products to Show

Depending on your site builder:

  1. Select which products or product categories to display
  2. Choose the display style (grid, list, featured, etc.)
  3. Configure any filters or sorting options

Step 5: Publish Your Changes

  1. Save your page changes
  2. Publish your site to make the products visible to visitors

Alternative: Link to the Products Page

If you don't want to embed products directly:

  1. Create a button or link on your website
  2. Link it to your products URL: /o/your-org-slug/products
  3. Visitors will be taken to your full product listing

Tips

  • Feature popular products: Highlight your best-sellers on your homepage
  • Organize by category: Group similar products together for easier browsing
  • Add descriptions: Make sure products have compelling descriptions and images
  • Check mobile view: Test how products look on mobile devices

Troubleshooting

Products not showing?

  • Make sure you published your site after making changes
  • Verify the products are active (not archived or hidden)
  • Check that the product block is properly configured

Wrong products appearing?

  • Review the product selection or category filter in the block settings
  • Check product visibility settings on the products themselves
